Barbara Skaug

Barbara was born in Moses Lake and after spending 35 years in California she re-located back to her hometown. Barbara joined the family business at Skaug Brothers Carpet One and is our cabinet and countertop design specialist. With a lifelong interest in designing, along with many years of experience in the industry, Barb enjoys helping folks find the right style, color, and function for their home. Barb has two children and two grandchildren, along with a green thumb and an appreciation for the outdoors.

John Wilson

John is a long time Moses Lake resident and community member. You may also have heard of his band, Dimestore Prophets. John started as an installer in the flooring industry 20 years ago and now manages Skaug Brothers Carpet One. John enjoys working hard and enjoying life, helping people achieve their home design visions, and treating everyone like a friend. John has a daughter, Megan, as well as two dogs.

Jenni Alaniz

Jenni has lived in the Moses Lake community for 28 years. She has been with Skaug Bros Carpet One for over 12 years and is committed to helping you find the perfect flooring for your home. Her hobbies include backpacking, hiking, gardening, and spending time outside in the yard. She is married to her husband, Justin, and they share two sons. They welcomed their first grandchild this past year and are loving the dynamics of being grandparents!

Rachel Dougherty

Rachel has enjoyed her time in the flooring and home design industry for 27 years. “I am blessed to have a career I truly love! Over the last 27 years I have had the opportunity to work with some of the BEST co-workers, contractors, and customers! Many have become lifelong friends.” Outside of work Rachel and her husband Steve enjoy boating and the sunshine. Rachel and Steve have four children and three grandbabies. And don’t forget their five dogs!

Megan Wilson

Megan was born and raised in Moses Lake. She grew up spending time with her dad, John Wilson, climbing on rolls of carpet in the warehouse. Megan has many years working retail and customer service. She loves to help people make design choices that they will love for years to come. Megan enjoys being outside, traveling, spending time with her family, and her puppy Hank. She is excited to be a part of the Skaug Brothers family in the community she grew up in and wants to further her knowledge to help you find the perfect touches for your home.

Karen Escure

Born and raised in Everett, WA, Karen moved to Moses Lake in 2005. She’s married to Greg and they have four children, two grandbabies, and a French Bulldog named Coco. When not working with customers at Skaug Brothers, Karen enjoys travel, beaches, yummy food, and gardening. With over 21 years in interior design, Karen feels privileged to help customers make their home improvement dreams a reality. Come visit with Karen today!

Brent McCaffery

Brent is a long time Moses Lake resident. He has been in the flooring industry for five years and is “committed to the industry for the long haul.” He is married to his lovely wife, Jenna, and they share two daughters and a son. Brent is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time playing with his kids. Brent has a passion for helping in the flooring selection process and is committed to help you with your flooring needs.
